| 4 Jul 2008 | Hedvig Schmocker | Loading...That is one interesting creature. I like the way the body fits together, it really looks like one "real" creature rather than two stuck together or one simply made up. Nice colouring too. // Charadas Shelz Keast replies: "Thanks. I always try and make my mythical creatures convincing almost like the could exist." | |

The colouring is very good, but I don’t like coloured pencils work with digital backgrounds very much... It looks kinda... cut out, if you know what I mean. I would love to see it with its real paper background!
But that is just my meaning. It looks awesome anyway, though Shelz Keast replies: "I know it looks cut out. The original paper back ground was white or near white and was far too bright. It does look better in reall life- like all pencil or painted pictures do. There’s no chance of a re-scan though, atleast not in the next few months, as the original is a few thousand kms away."

| 3 Dec 2008 | Casandra l.johnsen | Loading...I dont know what a Dingo looks like really other then a yellow dog. its still awesome! i’ll go look up dingos now. Shelz Keast replies: "Dingos are basically dogs- they’re only a subspecies of dog." | |
| 11 Dec 2008 | Lena H Green | Loading...Wow, well done he’s such a cool looking weirdo! You’ve got the style of the illustration down too, it’s beautifully executed. Shelz Keast replies: "Thanks to hours spent looking over the species illustrations in bird books." | |

| 1 Mar 2009 | Relentless | Loading...It looks like another version of a griffin. Hedvig Schmocker’s right it does look "real". it would be better if instead of a lion’s body, it had a horse’s body. Then it could be another verion of a hippogriff (Part eagle part horse. Kind of looks like a griffin, but with a horse’s body instead of a lion’s. You see it on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.) Hmmm. Maybe I’ll draw a creature that’s part horse part emu. Shelz Keast replies: "I know about Hippogriffs already, they don’t originate from Harry Potter either.
The body is actually that of a dingo, I just didn’t have very good references."
