Reminds me vaguely of Archeopteryx, which really could have been a wyvern, i suppose. great detail work, very reminiscent of the detailed naturalist sketches like Audubon did. Did you also use a photo reference for the head? Shelz Keast replies: "I didn’t use any reference for the head but I did use one for the wings. The reference picture was actually the inspiration for this piece.
Just keep practicing with your pictures and you’ll get better. References are really usefull. It’s taken me a bit to realise just how usefull." | |
