Hey Shelz!

Thanks for your comments. I’m afraid I didn’t read Keys to the Kingdom (yet) but someday I sure will!

Great artwork by the way 12 I’ve got a long way to go, hehe XD

Hi Shelz. Thanks for your comment. There is no way I can answer to comments anymore, so after trying all I could think of, I do it here

:-) Shelz Keast replies: "Is your account glitching or you’re very busy at the moment? If it’s a glitch it’s one I haven’t heard of before."

Yes, I think it´s a glitch

:-) Shelz Keast replies: "It it persists I’ll report it. There’s a bit of stuff being tinkered with at the moment and it may be related to that."

Shelz, you commented on Dominique Raquel Morris’s "Waterside Encounter" -- "What is the horse creature meant to be? It’s not exactly a Kirin but I don’t know what it could be."

I commented with my thoughts on it ran as flollows -- hope its OK to post them here too.
Since a Kirin is a kind of unicorn, and this creature has a unicorn horn with a horse type body, I would think it is meant to be an Oriental type of Unicorn Kelpie, with the same deadly habits as the Celtic Kelpie. The face is similar to Eastern dragons, Fu-dogs, and/or Demons, so I think if it is "etherial", it has a demonic quality. It probably lured the maiden by assuming the form of a flower bedecked Kirin, and now that she is trapped among the water lilies in this hidden lakel overhung by cherry blossoms, it shows its demonic face to her. Poor girl!!!

:-) Shelz Keast replies: "I was curious whether or not it was a composite creature or one straight from mythology. It had two horns so couldn’t be a unicorn."

Actually, didn’t the creature have 3 horns - 2 on top and one unicorn style? I think that is typical "Oriental Demon" mode. The body was what made me think of a kirin. However, think I was right, the artist indicated it was a demon hat had assumed another form to lure the maiden, but now showed its demonic face.

I rescued a baby dragon this morning! He must have fallen out of his nest while his wings were still to weak to carry him. He was sitting on the black pavement of a laneway, and I was afraid the heat would kill him, but I did not want to touch him, for fear his parents would shun him if I put my scent on him, so with the tip of my boot, I gently nudged him, and made him hop under the shade of a tree.

Of course, an average Human, without my advanced perceptions, would have mistaken the Dragon for a fledgeling bird.
